Why sponsorship

The organizers of WEB02 seek your sponsorship to partially defray the expenses for the second workshop on Education in Bioinformatics, on Aug. 8, 2002 at Edmonton, Canada.  Sponsorships enable us to waive registration fees for speakers as well as deserving participants who cannot otherwise attend the workshop.  In-kind sponsorships (particularly books) will be given away as poster prizes.

Sponsorship can be in any of the forms mentioned below:

• cash to cover the cost of registration fees for the speakers and printing the workshop handbook

• in-kind: sample copies of Bioinformatics education material such as books or software.

• discounts for Bioinformatics education materials to workshop registrants - the sponsor will have to bear a nominal fee for this.
